it is not allergy most likely an insect such as found in beddings, crowded buses, cushions in public places. if you sit there long enough, you will get it. hate to say this but it could b the mites, you will have to shave over there bcoz it is a good location for them to hide n breed.
i got the same once in a hotel in Ipoh.

Yikes! That looks painful! Try Tea-tree oil or something. I find that it's a good remedy for itch, it's an anti-septic, and the scent might drive off the insects (OK, don't take my word for the last bit). But some people might find Tea-tree oil a bit strong though (btw, thanks for saying my blog is of value, heh).

shave my butt? o.O no~~~~~. but the bites seem to be getting out of hand. it weird i dun feel anything biting me, but everytime i seem to see more bites appearing! grrr.. the worst part is i cannot scratch them, less it gets worse .-.
hi david, i have no idea i came upon ur webblog too. but passing by it was good. it made me think for a moment a period when i really thought about working in NLB, giving myself a reason: for the sociey. as i keep procastinating, and getting older, i realise the chance of working in any govermental places in singapore will be rather slim, whether i own a dioploma in IS, or a degree in museum studies. of course at every point of the road, i kept thinking to myself. one day, i will have to turn back home to singapore and face what i kept procarstinating and yet wanted. to give back to the society i grew up in. i dunno how much longer i can run, but i hope before i turn 30, i am ready to really do so.
btw, shanghai dun seem to be offering what u suggested. and anything that sounds aromatic sound body shoppish, and it certainly feel to me expensive :(
